Century's Indoor Guard competes in the Keystone Indoor Drill Association (KIDA) indoor guard circuit

There is an Indoor Guard meeting Thursday December 20th 2007 at 7:30 in the Century High School band room for both Junior and Senior Guard members
After the meeting information will be provided for rehearsal and competition schedules and these items will be posted to this website

Purpose of the different groups
Junior guard (6th - 8th grade)
Will be focused on learning all basic technique with body movement and flag Will follow the same technique book that is used with the Senior guardWill learn a couple different short routines that incorporate different types of basics to show competencyRehearsals would be short after their school day is out and last for 2 1/2 hours twice a week There would be some camp days on Saturdays and/or days off from school before the competitive season starts that would be no more than 6 hours long with an hour meal break and scheduled 10 minute breaks throughoutUniforms would something that will be low cost and purchased by members
Senior guard (9th-12th grade)
Will focus also on technique and proficiency on flag and rifle/sabreWill rehearse two or three times a week and some camp days on Saturday and/or days off school before competitive season starts that would be no more than 6 hours long with an hour meal break and scheduled 10 minute breaks throughout
